A new chapter for VPloss: The Website is live

A new home for VPLOSS

After months of sketching, building and tearing things down again, the new VPLOSS website is live. It is not a shop and it is not a portfolio. It is a stage: a place where every collection gets the room it had on the runway, and where each look can still be seen, studied and rented long after the show is over.

Why we rebuilt it

The old site did one job: it showed pictures. The collections deserved more than a gallery, and the people who want to work with the pieces (stylists, editors, directors) needed more than a contact address.

We set out with three goals:

  • Every show gets its own world. New York and Paris are not two folders of photos, they are two different stories.
  • Every look gets its own page. Name, number, pieces, fit, and a clear way to request it.
  • Everything stays up to date without a developer. New campaigns, new looks and new stories are added by the studio itself.

What is new

The campaigns

Each campaign opens with an intro built for it alone:

  1. New York Fashion Week 2026: a flight down a corridor of light, landing on Feminine Monolith, a collection about the architecture of expectation.
  2. Paris 2026, World on Fire: the Trocadéro drawn in chalk, erased as you scroll, until only the fire inside the letters remains.
  3. What comes next: already announced in the campaign menu, secret coming soon.

The looks

All looks from every show now live on one ring at /looks. Scroll and it turns; hover and the look starts to move. The numbering runs across every show, so each look has its place in the whole story, not just in one night.

Every look also has a page of its own, for example Classique, look 01, with:

  • the runway film and photographs
  • the pieces it is made of
    • cut and finished by hand in the studio
    • described piece by piece
  • fit, terms and a direct rental request

Not for sale, but for rent

The runway pieces exist once. They are not for sale, but they can be rented for editorial shoots, stage, film and events. Pick a period, press [Request this look], and the request arrives in our inbox with everything we need to know.

Made by hand, like the clothes

The needle builds, the needle wounds. The thread holds, connects, repairs, and the skull remembers what lies beneath the image.

The website follows the same idea as the collections: nothing off the shelf, every detail considered. The type is one family in its different widths, the colours come from the pieces themselves, and the motion is there to tell the story, never to decorate it.

The team behind it

The new website was designed and developed by SMI - Digital, who turned a runway into something you can scroll through. If you want to see more of their work, visit them at smi-digital.com.

Thank you to everyone who walked, sewed, shot and built with us. Welcome to the new VPLOSS.
