The needle builds,
the needle wounds.
The thread holds, connects, repairs,
and the skull remembers
what lies beneath the image.
Creation and destruction,
one object.

[The Collection]
The female body as an architecture of expectation. The narrow waist, the hourglass, the elongated line: ideal proportions taken out of context and built into structures that restrict, protect, expose, and finally consume the body they were made to define.
A garment becomes a cage. Armour becomes fragile. Every piece is made by hand, and the hand stays visible.
Not a portrait of the perfect woman. A portrait of the structure built around her.

The needle builds,
the needle wounds.
The thread holds, connects, repairs,
and the skull remembers
what lies beneath the image.
Creation and destruction,
one object.

Made by Hand
Leather, organza, water-effect chiffon, needles and thousands of safety pins,
each garment built by hand, its tension and its seams left in sight. Watch it move, caught between
fragility and force, protection and confinement.
